This rare piece of Corvette automotive history is 1 of only 700 Corvettes produced in 1955 and was the first year of the 265 c.i. V8 engine, which came standard. As rare as these Corvettes are today it is even more rare to find one like this that has been professionally restored to NCRS standards and equipped with options like turn signals, heater and Powerglide automatic transmission. Highly detailed under the hood with chrome valve covers, finned chrome air cleaner and chrome ignition shielding. All of the exterior chrome has been replated to show quality standards including the iconic grill that helped propel Corvette to king of the road status. White convertible top with the original side windows and stow away bag are included. No expense was spared in the interior as well with beautiful red seat upholstery, new door panels, new carpet, new dash pad, new chrome gauge bezels and restored original steering wheel.
